Early Life and Childhood

Born in Florianópolis, Brazil, Eduardo Corrêa da Silva was very active as a child. He spent his youth playing sports with friends, enjoying every moment.

As a teenager, he joined a football team and proved to be one of the best players. Although skilled, he felt his performance could improve, so he started training at a local gym to increase strength.

This gradually shifted his passion from sports to bodybuilding. He later began powerlifting and won his first competition at 19, marking the start of his successful bodybuilding career.

Biography

Childhood and Teens

Eduardo grew up in Florianópolis with his parents and younger brother Bruno. From early on, he loved sports and played football daily, often coming home bruised from all the activity.

In high school, he joined a prominent football team in southern Brazil. Realizing his physical condition needed improvement, he joined a gym, gradually discovering a love for powerlifting and bodybuilding.

First Competitions

Eduardo competed for the first time at 19 in a State championship and won 1st place. Soon after, he won both the NABBA Mr. Universe and Brazilian national competitions, launching his career as a bodybuilder.

Pro Card and Career Highlights

After winning the 2006 IFBB South American Championship and 2004 Excalibur competition, Eduardo placed 2nd in the 2006 IFBB World Championship, narrowly missing a Pro Card.

In 2007, he won the IFBB World Championship, earning his IFBB Pro status. Subsequent victories included the 2008 Arnold Classic Amateur and MD Cyber Classic. He then qualified for the 2009 Olympia, winning the Pittsburgh Pro and later placing 3rd at the Olympia.
