Big Ramy was born as Mamdouh Mohammed Hassan Elssbiay on September 16, 1984, in a small town in Kafr El Sheikh, Egypt.
Growing up in a modest family of fishermen, he helped in fishing work from a young age — building discipline and physical strength early in life.
In search of better opportunities, he moved to Kuwait, where he joined Oxygen Gym around 2009–2010. This became the turning point in his life — the place where he transformed from a hardworking fisherman into a future bodybuilding superstar.
Transition to Professional Bodybuilding

Earned IFBB Pro Card in 2012 Amateur Olympia (Kuwait City).

Made his pro debut at 2013 New York Pro — and won.
